Hello, I’m Robert Meyer. I’m a flight attendant, travel agent, EMT, and the founder of MyCrewBags.com. After a 15-year career in aviation that’s spanned three airlines, I’ve learned that having the right luggage makes a big difference in how we show up for our travels and how we enjoy our time away from home. Our bags are, in many ways, our mobile homes.
I started MyCrewBags.com with a simple goal: to help fellow crew members find high-quality, uniform-compliant luggage options at a great price, along with great deals on stylish, reliable bags for life outside the uniform too. I know what it’s like to search the shelves of the local department store or fall down an online rabbit hole looking for the perfect bag, only to end up disappointed, priced out, or stuck with something that can’t keep up with our lifestyle.
I’m passionate about quality luggage and have partnered with some of the best brands in the business that share that same passion including Briggs & Riley, Portland Gear, and Ricardo Beverly Hills, to name a few. More partnerships are on the horizon, and I can’t wait to share what’s next.
As both a travel agent and a flight attendant, I see every day just how much influence we truly have. The flying public often look to us for tips and tricks on how to make the most of the allowable carry-on limits, and we’re usually the ones showcasing what works and what doesn’t.
That’s why I only offer bags and brands I’ve personally tried, trust, and use myself.
